Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. While I was looking forward to supporting this business as a first time customer, I knew after the first wash that I would not be coming back. The wash lasted 2-5 minutes under burning water and was extremely rough. There was no care taken in my hair at all and I could feel that my hair wasn’t even thoroughly washed. The experience carried to the retwist, which as others have noted, was EXTREMELY EXTREMELY tight. My head was literally throbbing from all the pulling, I rushed home for advil. It felt my stylist was just rushing through my hair and taking no care at all. Sadly the finished style was mid, parts not even straight. All that for nothing.
The stylists mainly talk amongst themselves and rarely even acknowledge or speak to the customers at all. Unfortunately like other reviews mentioned, I did overhear them talking negatively about other customers. The main stylist, Mariam, carried a rude energy and was not very friendly.
I would not recommend this as a permanent salon for loc maintenance as they do not show any care for your locs or business. Read the low star reviews before coming here.
